Man and wife work the desk-assume they are the owners-the husband had an attitude--he was extremely rude, arrogant and unhelpful.--i had problems signing on to their wireless connection.--i took my computer to front desk for help signing on and all the man did was to say I had the problem- no one else had a problem signing on-there was no problem with the connection- there has never been a problem---finaly I picked up my computer and went back to my room because he didnt lift one finger to help me--i was in corporate work for 35 years and traveled all the western states as well many mid west and eastern states--this was by far the worst motel experience I ever had--thank you for giving me a voice so that others can be better informed.
Cheap and clean. Fridge and microwave in room. Pretty cmfortable bed!
The fee for our dog was only $10 and the man was so sweet he even brought us a water bowl and a soft/warm blanket for him to sleep on. Later that night we were getting a soda from the machine, which didn't want our dollar, and the same man showed up with quarters without even being asked. The room was nice with a couch and chairs and wonderful air conditioner. We have traveled to multiple cities and had to stay in cheap motels (never felt the need for fancy) and this is definitely one of the nicest.
The shower was small, everything else was great.
Friendly and caring owner checked us in to a room which was clean, quiet and comfortable. Location of motel good within The Dalles city area - close to downtown, shopping, restaurants and more. Great price for budget-friendly needs we desired during ten day vacation traveling throughout Oregon!
No complaints - good place to stay.
This was an overnight stop on a long trip. The hotel was clean, but a bit old and run down. If you like 50's kinds of places this is vintage. The location is unfortunately right by the railroad tracks and noisy trains run through all night long. But the hotel was very clean and not far from downtown.
The people that run it are extremely nice, and really try hard to accomondate travellers. They made us feel very welcome.
Locaton and price on a short notice. Herman at the front desk was a nice guy
Parking was a little tight
We were a single couple put on the lower level with a family with children that were loud and running around above us. Also child next door. I really feeling that we should have not been in rooms around children.
The Oregon Motel is centrally located for any event located at the Dalles. Across the street from Burgerville, USA.
The Oregon Motel is an old building with minimum amenities. An attempt at cleanliness, but hard to achieve a comfortable level with the challenge of rusty fixtures, holes in the walls and old carpet.
the bed was very comfortable. I liked the room but cluttered.
I preferred downstairs due to husband is legally blind and there was no consideration on the staff at all.. We were put in an upstairs room.
It was ok, close to everything in town.
Oregon Motor Motel is reasonably priced and very clean. The husband and wife who run it are very polite and friendly.
Nothing It smelled really bad in check in office
They charged my credit card before the end of the stay. Didn't ask if that card was the one I wanted it on and I did not get a credit cad receipt. And the check in office stunk really bad.
We found everything we need as it was just a stop in our trip. Confortable enough but it lacks a little bit of freshness.
Great bed - though the room was small, there was a table, desk and large bedside table. Good location - great Thai restaurant around the corner. Very nice and warm owners
At first from outside looked like a dump - but rooms were fine. They will be painting the outside the summer. Not a great place but good for the money - old (1940's motel) but rooms well kept up.
